This year in the context of the BigVis 2020, we have invited 14 distinguished scientists from academia and industry
and diverse communities (i.e., Information Visualization, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, Data management & Mining, and Computer Graphics) to provide their insights regarding the challenges and the applications they find more interesting in coming years,
related to Big data visualization and analytics.
Particularly, each scientist summarizes his thoughts regarding the following two aspects:
− the top future research challenges in Big Data visualization and analytics
− the top emerging applications in the context of Big Data visualization and analytics
