BigVis 2021 attracted more than 30 people from academia and industry. Ten research papers were submitted; four regular and two short papers were selected for publication. The BigVis CEUR proceedings are available at BigVis 2021 Proceedings. Also, the videos of the presentations are available at BigVis YouTube channel.
The paper entitled “Graph Cities: Their Buildings, Waves, and Fragments” by James Abello, Daniel Nakhimovich, Chengguizi Han and Mridul Aanjaneya has received the Best Paper Award.
BigVis 2021 included two keynotes by Georgia Koutrika (ATHENA Research Center, Greece) and Michael Sedlmair (University of Stuttgart, Germany) related to “Intelligent data assistants” and “Machine learning and visualization”, respectively. Several additional people have contributed to the successful organization of BigVis 2021. We own our gratitude to the 45 members of the Technical Program Committee who contributed in assembling such a high-quality program, working within a very tight schedule.
